I just wanted to drop in with a short post here on the final day of 2020 to wish you all a Happy New Year! I’m sure the festive period (much like most of the year) didn’t turn out as expected/ how you wanted it to, but I hope you managed to enjoy as best you could and celebrated in some capacity.
I wanted to round off this year by saying thank you to everybody that has read, liked and commented on my posts – it really means a lot to me, and of course thank you to everybody that has followed my blog this year, or continued to follow it, I really appreciate it!
Let’s hope 2021 is a better year for us all!
Much like I said in this post last year I think my book related content has been my favourite to put together this year, and it’s going to be my focus through 2021 as well, so I hope you’ll stick around for that. I always thought of this blog as a lifestyle blog with a few book reviews here and there, but I think as time has gone on it seems to be shaping up to be a book blog with the odd random post and I like that so I’m happy for things to continue in that way. Ultimately I’m going to keep writing what I enjoy, and I hope you will enjoy reading it.
What did you like to read most on my blog this year? To my fellow bloggers, what is your focus with your blogs as we head into a new year? As always I would love to know your thoughts!
Thanks for reading!

Happy New Year – belated..
Your blog introduced me to so many books I wouldn’t have thought of reading.
I love reading them too . Book box sharing in our area more than replaced the locked library – we both read books we wouldn’t have found for ourselves.
2020 as imagined ended on February 29th, when we went on a major shopping trip with my husband’s sister. ( sister in law sounds so formal, she’s my sister too) l.. Cerebral palsy means that she’s classed as highly vulnerable, She has her own flat, in a supported living community – but our only contact since Feb was on December 23rd, for barely two minutes, masked and very distanced – about six metres…
Definitely no hugging…

Happy New Year 😊
I’m so glad that I introduced you to some new reads, that’s great to hear!
I’m hearing so many stories similar to yours, it’s devastating having to be so separate from loved ones. I understand why it is, but it certainly has a detrimental effect on mental health, even those who are so strong I imagine are having moments where they falter. Let’s hope this is all behind us soon.

Happy New Year! As a student some of my favourite things to read were the articles we had to read for our courses and my blogging goal is just to get my blog together lol!
