In my last post I shared some of my favourite quotes by one of my favourite authors: Roald Dahl. My other favourite author, as mentioned before, is Jane Austen so I thought it would be fun to follow up with some of my favourite quotes of hers.
These words remind me that actions more often than not do speak louder than words.
I always think of people suffering in silence when I read this and it makes me want to be sensitive to whether somebody may need support even if they don’t verbalise it.
All this one is missing is a couple of finger snaps! I love the strength on display!
As I said above the strength on display is so inspiring in these words.
I wasn’t sure I would find any Jane Austen quotes that would be relevant now. She passed away in 1817 after all. How wrong I was! It was actually really difficult to narrow down to the four that I have included here, but they show how her words have a place in society today, just as they did when she was alive and penning them. Please feel free to comment on this post, perhaps you have other Jane Austen quotes you would like to share?
Until the next time…Jess x
