It’s nice to know a bit about the person behind the blog isn’t it. So, in order for you to get a bit more of a feel for who I am I thought it would be fun to answer some random questions about myself. Happy reading!
1 – Do you have a middle name?
2 – Are you named after anyone?
Not that I know of, I think my parents just liked the name.
3 – Where are you from?
Bristol originally but I moved to Swansea when I was 20 (2010).
4 – What is your star sign?
5 – What colour are your eyes?
6 – What colour is your hair?
Naturally brown, but courtesy of a bottle it is blonde at the moment.
7 – Any siblings?
Yes, an older sister and a younger brother…I’m the dreaded middle child!
8, Relationship status?
I have a long term boyfriend.
9, Any pets?
Two male dwarf rabbits called Lolly and Pop, we thought they were girls initially (hence the names), by the time we discovered they were boys the names had stuck and we just went with it. They haven’t ever minded!
10 – Dream pet besides any current ones?
A little pug that I can call Percy or Patrick if it is a boy and Penelope if it is a girl.
11 – How many children, if any, do you want?
I have a stepson already so I would love to have a girl. Ideally, I would have one of each though.
12 – Any tattoos or piercings?
Two tattoos and 4 piercings.
13 – Left or right handed?
I’m a leftie!
14 – Favourite colour?
15 – Favourite film?
Hard to narrow down to one. I love The Devil wears Prada, Anchorman and A walk to remember. My mood at the time of being asked will dictate my answer.
16 – Favourite song?
The Source ft Candi Staton: You’ve got the love.
17 – Favourite author?
I can’t pick between Jane Austen and Roald Dahl.
18 – Favourite animal?
Right now my answer is Panda. As a child I would have said a Manatee…I do still love them now.
19 – What is your favourite food?
If I was to answer with one item I would probably say goats’ cheese, if I was to say a meal I would definitely say my dad’s roast dinner…it is delicious!
20 – Favourite drink?
Non-alcoholic is coffee (definitely addicted), alcoholic would be prosecco or spiced rum.
21 – Favourite sound?
This might seem random but I love outdoor clapping and the sound of a drinks can fizzing open.
22 – Favourite subject in school?
I can’t choose one out of English and Drama.
23 – Least favourite subject in school?
Again I’m kind of cheating here, but I can’t pick between Maths and Science.
24 – What are your favourite things?
Books and writing! Is it bad if I put coffee here too?!
25 – Do you have any phobias?
Spiders! Just writing the word makes me feel funny!
26 – Fears that don’t quite make it into the bracket of a phobia?
Ooh, many! A lot of weird ones such as velvet and pen on skin. Some not so weird, like crowds, small spaces and heights. I put all these things in the bracket of fear rather than phobia because I can overcome them, put a spider in front of me however and, well, never mind.
27 – What is most important to you?
My family, friends, boyfriend and my two little bunnies. In no particular order!
28 – One word that describes you?
29 – What is your biggest limitation?
30 – Why did you start blogging?
To satisfy my constant urge to write and also to face my fears of my writing being judged.
31 – Biggest pet hate?
32 – Things that are guaranteed to annoy you?
Bad manners (there it is again), arrogance and ignorance.
33 – Scary movie or happy ending?
Depends on my mood but usually I pick a scary movie.
34 – Who do you look up to?
35 – Are you more like your mum or your dad?
I’m a bit of both but if I had to choose one I would say my dad.
36 – What is your biggest regret?
I don’t have any. I don’t think you can have the good without the bad.
37 – Who do you call first no matter what the situation?
38 – Can you whistle?
Only one solitary note unfortunately, I wish I could whistle a tune though.
39 – What is at the top of your bucket list?
To have a published novel.
40 – What is the first thing you do when you get home?
Take my shoes off and put my slippers on.
And that’s it, 40 things about me, some random and some not so much. It was really fun to pick out these questions, it’s such a great way to find out some things about yourself so you should definitely have a go as well. Who knows, you may just surprise yourself with some of your answers!
Thanks for reading, I hope that you enjoyed!
